Start & Sit - Week 9

With another Sunday over, lets look at next week's favorable matchups:

QB:

1. Aaron Rodgers (GB) - With a number of breakout performances this year from the QB position, maybe none are more impressive than Rodger's '09 season. Rodgers has been the most consistent QB for fantasy owners, especially considering the lack of protection from the GB O-line and minimal production from Ryan Grant, Donald Driver and Greg Jennings. Rodgers is a must-start, especially this week against a TB defense that has been less than stellar this season.

2. Ben Roethlisburger (Pit) - Coming off a bye week and the best first half of his career, be prepared for Big Ben to have another big weekend against a Denver defense that was exposed against a good but not great Ravens offense.

3. Philip Rivers (SD) - After back to back weeks of being torched by Brees and Mcnabb, expect Rivers to continue the trend against the Giants struggling defense. A healthy and productive LT should also help Rivers find his targets across the field.


RB:

1. Maurice Jones-Drew (Jac) - If I had a chance to redraft my team again, my second pick would have went to MJD in an instant. Eight carriers for over 100 yards and 2 TDs? Those are High School football stats, not NFL. With Garrard failing at the QB position, expect MJD to get a lot of opportunities against a weak KC front seven.

2. Michael Turner (ATL) - Washington's offense is struggling with the decision to defer playcalling to the booth, causing a lot of confusion and more importantly a lot of turnovers. Expect the Falcons defense to capitalize and provide Turner with a number of chances to score from inside the red zone.

3. Frank Gore (SF) - Until this weekend a number of Pundits were calling Gore a first round mistake. After watching the game against a solid Colts Defense, I think its clear the problem wasn't Gore but the lack of a passing threat. With the emergence of Alex Smith and Crabtree, expect SF to move the ball through the air, opening opportunities for Gore to breakout against the 0-59 Titans.

Wild Card Picks:

1. Jamaal Charles (KC) - With LJ out for at least a week, look to Charles to carry the load at RB next week against Jac. who gave up 228 yards to Chris Johnson.

2. Ryan Moats (Hou) - Moats will be at the top of everyone's waiver wire this week after his breakout performance this past weekend. Moats hasn't had previous success before Sunday and with the money the Texans have put into Slaton, don't be surprised to see him back in the lineup. However, we've already Miles Austin continue to produce after a major weekend so hope Moats follows that route.
